With about 50 employees the branch is coordinating funding initiatives and programmes for research and innovation in "Marine and polar research, as well as geotechnology", "Shipping and maritime technology" and "Technology transfer in Mecklenburg-Pomerania".

From Rostock main train station (Hauptbahnhof): Take the cable car (Straßenbahn) STR 04 towards Mecklenburger Allee and get off at Heinrich-Schütz-Straße. Walk along the foothpath towards Schweriner Straße, then you best turn left on the Schweriner Straße. After 50 metres you will find the office of Project Management Jülich.
Or: Take the suburban train (S-Bahn) S 2 towards Warnemünde and get off at Rostock Holbeinplatz. Take the cable car (Straßenbahn) STR 01 towards Rügener Straße and get off at Heinrich-Schütz-Straße. Walk along the foothpath towards Schweriner Straße, then you best turn left on the Schweriner Straße. After 50 metres you will find the office of Project Management Jülich.
