1st Transnational Call for Proposals on Bilateral Wadden Sea Research
eine Initiative der Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research und des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung
The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) in cooperation with the Wadden Academy has initiated a new boost for scientific cooperation in the Wadden Sea Region and expressed the need for a transnational approach including joint research initiatives. In parallel, the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) intends to foster transnational Wadden Sea research within the framework of its national programme "Research for Sustainable Development", specified in detail by the upcoming "Coastal Research Agenda North and Baltic Seas". Both parties support the need for a joint research agenda for the Wadden Sea.
